On Easter Sunday at 9.30am we join with Christians around the world to celebrate that Jesus Christ is risen. We will have a special service of Holy Communion with the choir. We remember that the friends of Jesus went to the tomb to mourn, they did not know of his resurrection. With them we discover the unthinkable, that Jesus who had been crucified is alive. Traditionally people give eggs at Easter, a reminder of the tomb which is broken open, bursting forth in new life. Easter defines us a people who live in a different reality, knowing God's power to stand alongside us, suffer with us, and raise us to life, and life in all its fullness. Come and celebrate with us.
