Electoral Roll 2025

Every six years the Electoral Roll for church has to be renewed. This means that all names come off the roll and everyone needs to apply to join or rejoin. No names are automatically added from the old Electoral Roll to the new one.
Being on the Electoral Roll enables you to participate and vote in the Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM) and stand for election to the Parochial Church Council (PCC). If you live outside the parish, being on the Electoral Roll gives you the same rights and privileges as those who live in the parish (for example , baptisms and weddings).
To be a member of the Electoral Roll you need to be baptised and either resident in the parish (and hopefully active in the life of the church) or, if you live outside the parish, then you need to have been attending regularly (once a month) for at least six months. Where someone is prevented from attending for good reason they can apply to join the Roll giving the reason for their absence.
Forms are available in church from Eileen Lees who is our Electoral Roll Officer. The deadline for submission is 12th April 2025.
