Harvest Festival 5th October 2025
Our Harvest Festival Family Service, which is suitable for all ages, will be in church on Sunday 5th October at 9.30am. The service will be led by school children with a bit of help from the clergy.
If you would like to, there are two ways you can join in. Firstly, by bringing a gift of food with you. This will be taken up to the altar during the service as we thank God for all he has given us. Secondly, you may like to bring a jam jar with autumn flowers or berries to help decorate the window cills in church.
On Friday 3rd October from 9am volunteers will be decorating the porch and the church. They are always happy to receive donations of fresh and non-perishable produce to work with.
After the service all donated items are either made into harvest baskets or given to Mid Cheshire Foodbank. The baskets are given to those in the parish who can no longer get out and about as they used to do.
