St. Mary's Mothers' Union was reformed in October 2011 after a break of 20 years. We opened with seven members, we now stand at eleven.
We have three speakers a year, who speak on diverse subjects, this year was from experiences in the Democratic Republic of Congo to being spared Auschwitz.
We have social events. This year we have been busy making our new banner. During the year we meet with other members of the Deanery and join in their special services, and once a year we have a Diocesan Mothers' Union service in Chester Cathedral where all the banners are paraded.
We meet in The Mews on the third Tuesday of the month, alternating between 2pm and 7.30pm.
